Inspired By A Love
of Japanese Design
Welcome to the Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden. Hidden in the heart of Pasadena, this historic jewel, that was once reserved for the enjoyment of an aristocratic Pasadena couple, has been re-imagined as a space to be shared.
Conceived in the 1930s as a private estate garden, and hidden from view for decades, a historic restoration brings new purpose to this place of special beauty.About Us

Directions & Maps
Please visit our Getting Here page for information and maps, including local streets, freeways and available public transportation options.
We look forward to seeing you at the garden. We are located in a residential neighborhood so please do not park on Arlington Drive or any of the surrounding residential streets. It is our efforts to be a good neighbor that allow us to operate in a residential zone.
There is some parking on-site in our two driveways. Park in a single file next to the property line and please do not block the area at the end of each driveway where cars turn around to exit.
On Sundays, most convenient is our parking lot on Madeline Drive that we share with a nearby school. From there it is just a short walk on the sidewalk around the block to the garden. The lot opens at 9:30am. (click here for map).Getting Here Page
